The importance of daily planner and how to really get more done plus stay organized in your day. Most people if you ask, do not really use a daily planner and don’t even understand why they would need it. Let me tell you something, if you use a daily planner, you will get more done and will be more organized. I find that because I plan my day, I accomplish more and stay very organized. My mind feels more relaxed and not shuffled. You will be more focused throughout the day. I feel accountable to my time especially if it is in writing and I can cross it off at the end. The satisfaction you get reaching your daily goals is very important to your daily life and career goals especially your mental state. The trick is to write everything that you will need to do for the day and put it into different categories. If you feel a section has too much maybe you will leave it for the next day and now it’s not a chore but a goal. Now you are accountable for your actions and will want to get things done to feel successful and accomplished. You have now used your time wisely which is amazing. I want to help you out to start this and therefore I have included a daily planner that I made and use. I want you to print it as much as needed. It is in a PDF format so just print it and take out your pen. I want you to have a head start to reach your goals. This will help you take each day in a way to reach your weekly goals. The daily planner has a bunch of sections, I will list them here now for you to see and explain what to write in each.

Sections:

Urgent Goals- these are things that have to be done asap on a certain day and are important. Example, going to the post office to send a package.

Personal Goals-are things that you need to accomplish for yourself to feel happy and satisfied. Example, doing exercise.

Work goals-these are things you need to accomplish for work or business for the day. Example, answer emails.

To do general-this is for all your to do that don’t go to any other section. Example, visiting a loved one.

Home duties-this is for things that need to be done for your family and things for the home. I have divided the section into a.m and p.m for convenience. Example, making dinner for the family.
